Picnic Tables
The CBC roof terrace is now ready for the summer. We took delivery of 2 heavy-duty picnic benches today. Made of recycled plastic, these benches have a 25 year guarantee and can be left outside all year with no maintenance required other than a wipe down. Many thanks to Janice and Leonie for organising the tables, and to the team of young, fit volunteers who carried them up the narrow stairs! More »

Sunday Cruiser Race
Three boats ( Pegasus II , Seeaway and Exisle ) took part in the second race of the Cruiser Weekend series in fresh conditions on Sunday 31st May. Cruiser Long Distance race
Four boats took part in the Cruiser Long Distance race on Saturday 23rd May: Pegasus II sailed single-handed by Alastair Johnson, Seeaway with Keith Ovenstone and Pavol Mraz, Talisker skippered by Mark Lewis with Edmund Bethune crewing, and Alan Hampson helming Stravaig with his crack crew of Calum and Stuart. WOW! Large posse of female sailors spotted off Cramond Island!
What was going on? Why were hordes of women swarming over the water off Cramond Island all of a sudden?
