Sailability

Cramond Sailability is the Club's sailing section for people with a disability.  The group exists to encourage and support anyone who might otherwise be unable to go sailing without some assistance.

The Group has two Challenger trimarans on long-term loan. The se are specially designed for sailors with a disability and are uncapsizeable.  Cramond Sailability is a Scottish Registered Charity and is affiliated to RYA Sailability Scotland.

The group is fully integrated with all the sailing and social activities of Cramond Boat Club.

If you would like more information about the activities of Cramond Sailability, please send an email to the Sailability representative (see the Contact Us page).

HELP NEEDED!
The group is always looking to recruit volunteers to help both on and off the water, particularly in the summer months. You DO NOT necessarily have to be able to sail yourself.  Cramond Sailability also needs 'shore buddies' to help launch boats and provide other land-based assistance.
If you can sail, you could help us out on the water as a 'sailing buddy'. So if you can spare a few hours of your time each month, we'd love to hear from you! (see contact page for current contact information)

Cramond Sailability is a registered Scottish charity, No. SC027427
