Autumn Series finale

Our Autumn Series drew to a close on Sunday 17 September with racing taking place in a light north easterly breeze which peaked about force three. There was some very close racing particularly in the second race where only 28 seconds separated Ewan Christison (Laser 1) from Lawrie Elliott (Aero 7) in corrected time. With the breeze weakening the OOD/Safety Boat Crew of Campbell Calder & Annemarie MacRury decided that two hours in continuous rain was enough and with racing over everybody headed for shore. A total of 17 dinghies took part in the series and the final results were: 1st Campbell (Laser 1) 6.2pts, 2nd Ewan (Laser 1) 11pts, 3rd Lawrie (Aero 7) 15pts.
