Making Progress

During the past few months the 'Wednesday Club' has been quietly working away at maintenance and tidying work around the clubhouse and workshops. Yesterday, 1 May, we at last got the chance to start one of our major outdoor projects all of these having been been delayed due to the very long spell of inclement weather we have just experienced.

Considerable preparation work was carried out on the workshop roof space and over the next few weeks we hope to patch the areas that have been causing some water ingress over the winter. Many Thanks to Lawrie Elliott, Andy Walker, Howie Stansfield and Keith Driver for their help on the day and to Keith Miller for expert roof repair advice and also Paul Sizeland and our House Convenor Alex MacAulay for technical and admin support.

As ever all club members who are free are welcome to come and help on a Wednesday morning . We start at nine and finish around 1200/1230 with a very sociable tea/coffee break around 1030. Many folk of course are working and cannot attend but we do appreciate the many positive comments we have received re the work carried out.

Kind Regards

Campbell Calder - Vice Commodore
