Freesailing and training

Dinghy sailing trainees weren't deterred by the weather on Saturday 14 June. After raining all day the evening only had one downpour while on the water. The wind was a light north easterly, giving excellent conditions for practicing tacking and gybing round the course marks.
One boat was the Wayfarer Yellowhammer practising elements of RYA Level 2 training with Innes Muir gaining tuition from Lawrie Elliot. The other was an RS Vision, Ruby with Mike Hannon and Colin Boswell on board taking part in RYA Level 3 training. Alan Mackenzie was putting them through their paces from a club Laser. Paul Rogers and Jennie and Howie Stansfield provided support from two safety boat RIBs.
