Pies & River Work!

Alastair Johnson - Moorings Convener, and the various members of the moorings work parties have done an excellent job over the past few months servicing the club's mooring trots. This is without doubt one of the most unpleasant and hardest jobs in the club however it has to be done and with often milder conditions in the autumn this is now the preferred time to do this.

Of course one of the key attractions for the volunteers is the Free Lunch however following feedback on a lack of choice, a new menu was put in place and now you have a choice between Scotch pie, beans or Scotch pie and beans!

There will be a further work party in early March 2023, to check all mooring rings, freeing any winter debris and checking the shackles and replacing these as required and as before a high-quality lunch will be provided......
